Variables
Independent Variable:
Our independent variable is the playground because it does not depend on the other variables. It is also considered the abiotic of this experiment.
Measure of Independent Variable:
We are going to count the number of insects in given areas in both settings.

Dependent Variable:
A dependent is the population density of insects because it depended upon the presence of the abiotic factor.
Measure of Dependent Variable:
We are going to use the count the number of insects in given areas in both settings.

Constants:
We kept the following conditions the same: Temperature, Food, and Weather.
The temperature is one of the constants of this experiment because we had done our experiment in a brief period of time. When we had done this experiment, we had not observed any changes in the food and weather.
